I am a master mariner with 8 years experience as chief officer, with last 3 years spent as Chief officer on LNG carriers. I do not agree with the comments of Mr Charman.I see lot of hostility by the recruitment managers even now in the LNg market for seafarers. the recruiters show lot of attitude and always try to portray as our LNG experience ( that too as a Chief officer on LNG ships) is worth nothing. Everytime, I ues & my colleages are made to wait for months to be posted on a LNg ship despite the LNG experience and good evaluation reports from previous ships.

Are there any good humble LNg employers out there??
